Interview
The hiring process is fairly straight forward. After applying to the position through their online job portal, an initial interview was requested by the position's supervisor the following week. After that, the second round of interviews is conducted with a smaller presentation team. Finally, a response is given if the applicant received the job or not. The whole process takes about a month.
Interview Questions
There is just as heavy of a weighting on your presentation skills as analytical skills. It does not matter how smart you are if you do not have interpersonal flair. A phone interview will be conducted for each of these aspects. Additionally, they look for candidates who did their research and not just blindly apply. With these three major conditions they're looking for, they want answers through situational questions. An example of a question they asked was: What is one situation where you had to deal with sensitive or difficult information?

Interview
I applied online through Bayer. I talked with HR for one phone call, then moved to a webcam interview with a supervisor, then the final round was in person with the supervisor and head of controlling. The process was very formal, and then recruiters did a great job with keeping me up to date on the job status.
Interview Questions
The most difficult and unexpected interview questions consisted of asking me about my biggest struggle in life thus far, how good my excel skills are, and what type of job environment I was looking for. Another difficult part of the final round was figuring out what I hoped to gain from the experience precisely, because the program does not layout everything one will take part in. I think that figuring out how the work environment would help me strive was a tough question because it is corporate finance, and you are working in a cube for the majority of the day.

Interview Questions
there wasn't anything too extreme. Not much out of the ordinary fit questions that you would expect...i.e. "tell me your strengths and weaknesses, walk me through your resume, what is your biggest accomplishment, why Bayer, why marketing, what do you hope to accomplish in this internship, tell me about a time you worked on a team" the most important thing was to show why you cared about working at Bayer and that you would be willing to do whatever it takes to succeed at Bayer. There are no technicals.
