Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The first round was a phone interview with an Associate, the call lasted about 20 minutes and consisted of basic fit and background questions. He informed me that the second round would be somewhat different. For the second round I was emailed a case study and was asked to read through it, create a valuation model for the case company, describe the details of the business model, and come up with questions for the company’s management team.

After submitting the case study I was invited to their Superday which was being held on a Thursday/Friday in Richmond. The first night in Richmond consisted of a networking function with the junior bankers. Early Friday morning we were taken to the BB&T office building. We sat in the conference room for a brief meeting and were then given our interview schedules.

We changed offices for each interview and sometimes the interview was with just one employee and sometimes with two. The interviews lasted about 20 minutes each and you met with team members from all levels. The interviews consisted of a mixture between fit and technical and the technical questions seemed to become redundant eventually between each different interview. All-in-all you went straight through about 7 interview meetings that morning. The process lasted for about three hours before concluding.

I was contacted on Tuesday with the determination.
