2015 Pre-MBA Associate at Stockbridge

Had two separate phone interviews with members of the investment team of Stockbridge. Mainly was focused on fit, and discussed motivation. Was asked how I would go about valuing a telecom company over the phone, as well as other classic interview questions such as 'what is the best company you know.' They described their approach to investing as being different from traditional value investing; said they are interested in long term holdings whenever possible.

Next phase was an in office interview where the team would give a case study; did not participate in the next round.
