Met with four individuals at various senior levels. Then did two case studies: one they assigned, one of my own choosing. Had me complete their standard company analysis template. There might also have been an expectation of a model, though I just used sell-side for one of the them. Presented the case studies and made a recommendation.
Interview Questions
Nothing unusual...very detailed discussion of every position I listed as recent on the resume. They were all special situations which had experienced events.

Interview
First round phone interview was fairly standard. Followed up with a case study (LBO model & short ppt) - this was done in between rounds 1 and 2 and was presented in round 2 to a director and an MD. Round 2 was a full-day of one on ones with each member of the group (8-10). Mainly focused on fit and background. Was brought back in to interview with 3 team members who were not in town for the first on-site. Offer extended shortly thereafter.
Interview Questions
Most difficult question was relating to a transaction I had done a few years prior (intentionally not a recent deal) which was a manufacturing company. I was then asked to walk through what a 5% increase in volume would do the company's earnings (variable margin analysis) with detailed questions on each step of the way (how variable are the variable costs, how variable is labor (staffing, utilization, headcount, base rates, overtime), how did you verify your assumptions, are the fixed costs variable?
