What did the interview consist of?
Phone Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I applied through a family lottery. Basically, if you're related to someone who works for the company, they can submit your resume. If you get picked (randomly), you're guaranteed an interview.
The interview process consisted of only two phone interviews, which was strange to me. I live in the area, so I was assuming they would want me to come in. One interview was with HR, where we spoke about my interests and my skills. She then suggested a few different positions I might be interested in. After we settled on product development for PE/IB, I had an interview with two managers I would be working with (if I got accepted) about two weeks later. Two weeks after that, I was offered a position.
