Applied online and within a week I did a phone screening with a recruiter. The phone screen was short, about 10 minutes, and the recruiter was very nice. Received an invitation that afternoon to attend an interview day at Bloomberg HQ in New York. The interview day was consisted of a speed-dating type interview and consisted of basic resume-based questions, why this position, finance, and Bloomberg. After the interview, we did a tour of the Bloomberg tour led by a 1st year employee as well as an introduction to the Terminal.

Shortly after this first in-person interview, I was contacted for a final round interview where I met with with one of the department managers who again went over my resume and the typical why Bloomberg questions. However, this time I was asked about my sales abilities and questioned about some current news in finance. Basically, be prepared for those type of questions and you should be all set.

I received an offer about a week later, and I'm looking forward to starting. Good luck!
