General Interview Information
Interview Details
Phone interview took about 30 min. I suggest you go to Glassdoor, you can find hundred of questions there, but I had a really average interview - not too hard but not too boring. First asked me about my studies and experiences. Then, a couple of financial concept questions (if you spent more than 10min on investopedia, you're going to nail this, it's so easy) - questions like what's the difference between a future and forward, how do companies raise capital, how can companies hedge risk. Then several scenario questions, such as: "Imagine you're the account manager for JPM, and they announce that they're closing the Equity division - and with that, 30 terminals. How would you persuade them not to drop the terminals?" .. And obvious questions of why Bloomberg, why not banking instead, really simple personal questions.
2nd in house with 2 team leaders - one sales and one analytics. Essentially the same questions again, just in much more depth. Also, much more scenario questions, like how would you sell to a car company in CEE, how would sell to a SME etc. Also shadowing before the interview, but I don't think that part actually has an impact on your outcome, I think it's just to show you what the job consists of (in case you thought you were overqualified).
Still waiting for the 3rd interview.
