The firm followed up on my application very quickly. I received an email response within a day of submitting my application. I did, however, have to wait close to three weeks for my phone interview. The conversation was very brief and the recruiter spent little time on the phone. She did not properly introduce herself or her role at the company. She did, however, provide some insight on what the job would be like. The actual interview only lasted about 15 minutes. She asked me to run through my resume, explain why I am interested in Bloomberg, and my past experience in sales. At the end of the interview, I asked her a couple of questions about the corporate culture and job description. She instructed me to wait 1-2 weeks for a decision, but I have yet to hear back them which I assume means that they are not interested.
