Interview
I met the campus recruiter, Scott Song, at the campus business fair at UIUC. He was a very easy going guy, and very easy to connect with. After a couple minutes of chit chat, he offered me his card with the promise of an interview later in the week. After doing some research, I was able to prepare myself for the interview and go in feeling confident. He asked the normal behavioral questions,"name a time when your group was difficult and how did you react, name an adversity you overcame, name a leadership experience, etc." The technical questions were not very difficult either,"what determines the price of a stock, what are the financial statements and their purpose". The brain teaser was most difficult for me,"What is the angle between the clock hands when it is 9:30 (the answer is not 90 degrees). Other than that the interview went very smoothly, and Scott was a great help.
