Equity Research Associate

First interview was simple, I got a number of questions on my background and why I would want equity research (I did a summer in investment banking prior to and people wonder why I want to go in this direction), all fairly simple. They asked why I like the sector, I gave some weak answer that showed I could have known more. Next they moved on to market/investment questions: do you invest/follow the market, what do you look for in investments opportunities. Asked me some high level macro questions and then moved on. Then they asked me for an investment idea, I was going a bit too detailed, I think they wanted something like a 60sec pitch. Forced me to answer 3 reasons why its a good investment in bullet point form. Aside from the sector question it was simple and smooth.
