Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Summer internship was advertised through a student society. I sent my CV and was invited to a telephone interview shortly after. Was then invited to two more in-office interviews with each 3 people interviewing me (Analysts, Associates, VP). No psychometric testing.
Was asked technical questions about DCF, Multiples, Precedent transactions valuation methods. Had to explain how to get to free cash flow and the difference between levered and unlevered free cash flow. Some questions on natural resources specific multiples like P/NAV. In total, very technical interview. Only basic questions about my background such as why IBD, walk me through your CV.
