Please describe the interview / hiring process.
R1 was with an associate on the team - asked basic behaviorals (TMAY, TMAT, why leveraged lending) and moved on to basic technicals I.e net income vs cash flow, credit metrics, $1 revenue and $0.5 cogs on the 3 statements. Super chill and enjoyed the interview.
Received superday notice 2 days later scheduled 1 week later. Was a 45 minute interview with a VP and director in same group. Very unstructured questions and seemed like they just genuinely wanted to gauge my fit. For example, asked me one technical about FCF but were so impressed with my thoroughness that they stopped asking. Both interviews left room for questions - thoroughly enjoyed the process but did not receive offer.
