Research Assistant

I was asked to do a virtual day of interviewing which consisted of behavioral questions as well as questions on research I had conducted during my courses. They asked questions about my senior thesis, experience with data, and comfortability with different programming languages. The interview was about 5 hours and theres an informal lunch you attend with current RAs where you can ask questions, get to know them, and take a break while you eat. This day interview is with different panels, and following this I had multiple hour long interviews with specific sections to see if I was a good fit. The day long interview is for general fit at the Board, these single interviews are for which section would be best. These are great opportunities to express your research interests and what your career goals look like in relation to wanting this job. They emailed me for scheduling the day long interview and then subsequent emails after for section specific interviews until I found a match. Everyone was very professional and friendly.
