Interview
I was initially interviewed before there was an available position, they said they like to keep a pipeline of viable applicants as there is a high turnover rate in the CSA position (because of internal mobility as opposed to attrition). It looks as though the position is middle office but the guys that i talked to suggested that it offered multiple exit opps internally, and the only entry level analyst position. Guys have gone both to investment teams as well as the direct sales/relationship mgmt. path. The interview process consisted of 3 one-on-ones the first go around and 4 on the 2nd.
Interview Questions
everything was pretty straight forward - strengths/weaknesses, biggest failure and how did you respond. thoughts on the market etc. The focus was certainly more on fit within the organization and team.
