The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview

I interviewed for the Acquisitions Analyst position in 2015. I was brought into the office three times over the span of one week. It was mostly "fit" questions and inquiries into my previous jobs. No one asked me technical questions. It was a very quick process and I was offered the job exactly one week after my first interview.

Interview Questions

There were no difficult questions in any of my interviews. BC is a LIHTC (low-income housing tax credits) firm so no one expects you to know anything about the industry. I asked a few of my own questions and the VPs happily gave answers. I did work through a model with my current boss. He basically walked me through a quick overview of the tax credit calculation, development costs, financing, and sources and uses tabs. This was very helpful in getting to know the model I now work with everyday.
