Interview
The process began with a resume submission with my college career services platform where they posted information about the position. A couple weeks later, they reached out for a phone screening.
Interview Questions
Besides the typical walk me through your background and other fit type questions, they also asked about a number of finance type questions. They consisted of the standard discounted cash flow analysIs and cost of capital related questions, but what made it more difficult was that they dug into the concepts more than the normal bank interview would. Also, they had a focus on returns type questions, such as returns on assets as and return on equity. There was also a case study question about an industrial company.

Interview
Applied online and was invited into the office to meet with one of the team members 1 on 1. Really nice guy, easy to talk to. Asked about past experiences and interests. Mostly behavioral.
Interview Questions
He asked me to walk through my resume. Then he dug a bit deeper about what I actually did in my prior experiences as an intern at an investment bank and the deals that I worked on. Then he asked about my interests and what I was involved in on campus. There were a few more behavioral questions. Then, there was a pretty easy case study about fixed and variable costs. If you understand those concepts you should be good to go. He gave me revenue, cost, and percent of cost that was fixed vs variable. Then you had to figure out the ROI of an opportunity to sign a contract with X revenue.
