Interview
Applied online. Interviewed with 4 different Partners. Interview was relaxed and low pressure. Interviewed with 2 partners at a time. First portion was my experience and second interview was more to judge my overall fit with the firm. Overall, I spent ~2 hours interviewing.
Interview Questions
None of the questions were particularly difficult. They initially focused on why I wanted to leave the firm I wasn’t previously with. They followed those questions with questions related to my previous experience at my other firm. Some of the tools I had used at my previous firm were proprietary or unfamiliar to this firm so I had to explain their uses. They asked questions to determine the relevancy of industries I had worked in specifically because I had no experience with benefit plans and much of my experience was with oil and gas clients in Tulsa.
