Interview
Brownstone recruited at my school this year. I saw them at an information session, kept in touch with the recruiter, and submitted an application. There was only one in person interview. They asked me questions about my interpretation of what was happening in the markets right now, and where various interest rates were.
Interview Questions
They asked me what I thought about the situation Italy was in with their debt. They asked me my opinion on negative interest rates and what that could mean for the economy. They asked me why I was interested in sales and trading and what I thought the profession entailed. Why S&T over investment banking? Why our firm over a larger firm? What newspapers do I read on a daily basis? How else do I keep up with news? What's an interesting news story I've been keeping up with recently and how does it apply to S&T?
