Investment Banking Analyst

As a part of the investment banking network at my school, we visited Cain in their NYC office this May for their company presentation. I didn't network with them afterwards since I am not quite interested in the health care industry although the people seem really nice. I still applied online to maximize my opportunities the start of the fall recruiting and surprisingly I got a first round on campus interview with them. The interviews consist of two back-to-back with a senior VP and a MD. The interviews are really behavioral based and occasionally they would throw in some technical if they are relevant with my experience on my resume. They were really nice and talkative which made things much easier on the candidates part. Something I wish I could have done better was to prepare more insightful questions for the interviewer. The MD left 10 minutes for me to ask him questions and to be honest since they are not my top choice, I didn't prepare enough and ended up running out of questions despite the rest of the interview went really well. I sent both thank you notes afterwards and didn't hear back from them.
