Quantitative Research Analyst

Was first invited for the interview via a referral. First round was a group interview with the head of research was and mostly focused on discussing the research work I've done in the past and other experiences. Few brain teasers and the like, and an interesting argument did take place during the interview that I believe was intentionally established in order to gauge my ability to think logically and defend a view. Spent a significant portion of the time discussing the firm's outlook and research activities, and while he was rather secretive, he admitted that they place a lot of emphasis on bayesian methods and look for candidates with
skills in that realm.

Although the interview process went well, I accepted an offer from a competing fund before we could proceed further with the interview process.
