Interview
Applied the position through the school career portal. Not sure exactly how many candidates they have interviewed, but it took them a while to contact me.
There's only one round of interview and it's with the department head. Most of the questions asked were walk me through your resume type of thing.
Offer was made about two hours after the interview and I gladly accepted it.
The entire process went quite smoothly, I guess I was just lucky.
Interview Questions
I was asked to comment on the prospect of the Yuan internationalization, and trends in Hong Kong's real estate market.
In my response, I mentioned that PBOC recently widened the Yuan trading band to 2%, Hong Kong's housing market tanked earlier this year. it's probably because of the Fed tapering or something. (Hong Kong's capital account is fairly open)
