The number you see in the middle of the doughnut pie chart is the simple average of these scores. If you hover over the various sections of the donut, you will see the % breakdown of each score given.

The percentile score in the title is calculated across the entire Company Database and uses an adjusted score based on Bayesian Estimates (to account for companies that have few interview insights). Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
I applied online, heard back for first round interviews 10 days later, then received notification of final round interviews a month later. The initial interview was a relatively easy zoom call with typical personality and fit questions asked. The final round included 2 case portions and a behavioral portion where they wanted to see my quantitative abilities and general knowledge of business concepts.
Interview Questions
I was presented a table with customer demographics like credit and age. They asked me to come up with an algorithm to find which customers are highest priority and vice versa.

I already worked for the company and applied as a transfer. I was then contacted by a recruiter for a follow up interview with the hiring manager. That process took about 2 weeks. After the interview it was another week before I accepted the offer.
Interview Questions
None. It was a standard interview using the STAR method. Like "Tell me a little bit about yourself" and "Tell me about a time when you had a difficult project and how did you get through it" or something of that nature.

Interview Questions
I was referred by an existing employee. If you can, go this route. An internal referral = guaranteed call from an internal recruiter.

The call with the internal recruiter focused on my past experiences, why I was interested, what did I know about the position, and what did I know about CarMax. Friendly, light conversation just to make sure that I could string a sentence together. This is meant to be a laid back work environment so avoid at all cost coming off as arrogant or a jerk.

Next round was an IQ test. I had up to a week to complete it and a practice test is made available. There are other practice tests available for free if you search. I did and recommend doing 2-3 others just to make sure you are comfortable with the format and timing (time is limited and I think most do not finish).

The third round was a technical case study via phone. I believe most people take this in person but I was not located in Richmond. The interviewer read a scenario then asked me a question. The answer was then used for the next portion. At the end you've built a recommendation in which, based on the results of a future theoretical consumer study, you'll purchase land 1 and/or land 2 for a new dealership. Wording is extremely important and intentionally tricky. You'll need to do math (Ex. 9 / 0.4) but are asked to not have a calculator.
