Summer associate

Initial communication was handled by email. The process included introductory conversations focused on my background, interest in investment banking, and understanding of transactions, followed by more detailed discussions about technical skills, deal experience, valuation, and fit.The interviewer and I are both Columbia alumina so it went smoothly, and I got the offer. My experience may not apply to many, but it shows the importance of connection.
