Centerbridge Partners was founded in 2005 by Jeffrey H. Aronson and Mark T. Gallogly and commenced business in early 2006.

Our cofounders believe in a complementary relationship between our investment disciplines—from private equity to credit and related strategies, and real estate—and have set out to build a unified team to invest across asset classes and market cycles.
