Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Submitted resume to resume drop. No prior connections. Had OCR for first round. Heard back within a few days that I was invited for a final round interview. Final round interview consisted of several one on one interviews. I met everybody in the SF office (everybody from the analyst to partner level.) Superday lasted very long for this reason. Expect 5-6 hours. Everybody was surprisingly relaxed and trying to make me feel as comfortable as possible. Very different vibe than other Superdays I was invited to in this sense. Strong no asshole policy in the office. Interviewers were given discretion as to how long the interviews would last. Some lasted quite long while others were shorter. Each interviewer met with me for as long as it took them to make a personal decision. Seemed like everybody's opinion mattered in order to secure an offer. Questions were not terribly technical in nature although it was important to know how healthcare companies are valued differently than other companies. (How is the DCF different? How does one select comparable companies? etc...) Asked me about trends in healthcare as well as deals I was excited about. Pretty standard behaviorals. No brain teasers. Why Centerview was a big question? Important to convince them that you didn't want to do 2 years and out.
