Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The initial round of screening was conducted by the recruiters - two one-on-one interviews that were quite basic in nature, with questions such as "why banking", "why Centerview" and rudimentary questions on valuation and the market.
The pool of candidates was then narrowed to around 10 and we were invited to an assessment centre held over one day. We started by sitting an non-calculator timed numerical exam where you were penalised for skipping questions. One-on-one and two-on-one interviews then followed on until mid-afternoon, with a role-playing exercise as well. The pool was narrowed further with successful candidates invited back for a third and final round a few days later.
