What did the interview consist of?
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
I had three 45 minute interviews, the first was a case interview and the next two were fit interviews.
In the case interview I was asked to walk through the due diligence process of a potential investment. We talked through growth opportunities, cost cutting opportunities, customer needs, and risks. Finally we did a paper LBO model to estimate returns of the business.
In the following two interviews, I was asked detailed resume questions for roughly 30 minutes and then asked to discuss an investment idea. I was able to ask questions about the firm and investments for the last 5 minutes.
