Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Had three phone interviews with members of different members of the investment banking department. All three asked technical, behavioral based and brainteaser questions.
After completing the phone interviews, HR emailed a timed exam (you failed if you didn't email back within the time limit). It included translation tests as well as analysis of various financial concepts from DCF to EV/EBITDA on a Chinese company which reported using Chinese accounting standards (so you had to have some basic knowledge of how that was slightly different than US GAAP).
