Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview Questions
There was nothing super technical or any case questions that were asked. The interviewer asked me what a V look up is and what the function of it is. I think he did the same for Index Match. Apart from that, no tech.

Nothing super difficult except when I mentioned I know how forecasting works: Interviewer asked a detailed explanation of my thoughts on forecasting and everything I knew about it.

"Explain everything you know about forecasting and how it is done and if you have ever done anything related"
