First round was a phone call with HR. They only have one employee overseeing recruiting, it's a small farm. Basically all fit questions. Afterward, Excel modeling test for a scenario having nothing to do with finance.
Interview Questions
Excel test involved modeling a brain teaser type question. In reality, the scenario we were asked to model is a statistical anomaly which has been well documented -- no right answer, they just want to see the thought processes your model evidences.

Interview
The analyst I spoke with forwarded my resume to who I believe is the sole HR employee. We did a first round interview consisting of behaviorals such as why renewables / what do I know about the industry, and then a modeling test. It was not a financial model (like an LBO) but a model of a hypothetical scenario not in finance. The point of the model was to see your skills in Excel. I got an email saying they were moving forward with candidates who performed stronger on the modeling test.
Interview Questions
I was asked about trends in the renewable energy space.

Interview
Applied through my schools career site and was contacted by the head of HR within a week. Soon after had the first round interview with the head of HR which was behavioral.
Interview Questions
No unexpected question. The recruiter wanted to know what experience I had in the renewable space and grilled me about my past experience at my previous internship. Wanted to know details and more than just a quick summary of what I did. Was very interested in the deal experience and what role I played.

Also asked why I was interested in the renewable space and why I had applied to that company
