Got a call from recruiter to schedule interview. Met with a director on zoom and was asked about resume as well as why I wanted to go into finance. More conversational rather than Q&A. Got call from recruiter extending offer the next week. Would be helpful to know your resume well as well as have an answer for why Comcast and why that position.

Hiring process started with a simple application with a cover letter attached, about a week later I got a call from HR doing some prescreen questions and then afterwards an email for a hirevue. I completed the hirevue, it asked questions about 1) Describe your experience and how you would fit into Comcast. 2) Tell us about a time you were faced with a difficult situation and how you overcame it 3) Tell us about a time you went above and beyond.

Nothing after that
Interview Questions
There were no difficult or unexpected interview questions, It was just a hirevue screen and HR screening

I applied online through the handshake application. As a result, I was selected for an on-campus interview.
Interview Questions
The interview process was mostly behavioral and didn't include any technicals. However, I was surprised by some of the interview questions such as what makes Comcast so special? Why choose Comcast over other companies in the Philadelphia region? What special characteristics can bring into Comcast? Besides that, it was mostly straightforward. Such as walk me through your resume, name a time you showed leadership, name three of your strengths, and name three of your weaknesses. Overall, it was an easy interview.

Applied online through on campus job board--immediately around a week a later received a hirevue. Completed the hirevue and moved onto superday.
Interview Questions
Nothing was unexpected. It was a normal average behavioral interview. Nothing technical. Just have the basics down and have stories prepared. Think of the STAR format and try to be engaging. You're given two tries to record and so it's okay to re-record. There is a time maximum, but you're given plenty of time to answer the questions. I don't remember the exact questions that were asked but I believe they were something along the lines of tell me about yourself, and a question on working on a team and such.

Networked with someone in the program, got resume pushed, recruiter reached out and then had a 30 minute behavioral interview.
Interview Questions
Nothing unexpected or difficult at all, just standard behavioral stuff. Know stories for tell me about a time you failed in a teamwork situation. Know what Comcast does and it’s history. I’d you look at the website you’ll see that they own a lot of companies and things especially things you wouldn’t expect them to own. Recruiter was really nice and easy to talk to. Again no weird or hard questions, just do your research have some STAR stories and you’ll be good to go as it’s very straightforward.

Resume and cover letter drop via career website. Then, a 2-on-1 on campus interview that was 45-minutes long.
Interview Questions
The interview consists of a two interviewers using your resume to question where they think weaknesses might lie, so hard questions will be dependent on where you have holes in your resume. The interview was set up like a conversation, but the nature of the conversation didn't make me feel very confident. Besides that, there was one question in particular that stuck out to me as very hard--the interviewers asked me whether my leadership style was to take control of a group or to sit back and be more of a "follower".

I applied online around October and was notified for a phone screening around December. The phone screening was entirely behavioral and was laid back. Two days later I was invited to a final round Skype interview. The interview was with two managers and was mainly behavioral with a few technicals.
Interview Questions
The only difficult question was to explain something I've read in the news recently about media and how it is changing. I had to explain how media is changing presently and how I see Comcast adapting. Also they asked for something that wasn't on my resume which makes me stand out from the others applying. They also asked a question by prefacing, "Since you aren't from a target school." Also, they allowed me to ask about 5-7 questions at the end of the interview so make sure you have thought-provoking questions.

Applied online and was invited to a phone interview. Competed the phone interview and then was invited to do a 2 on 1 skype interview. Heard back 3 days later.
Interview Questions
What are our biggest competitors. I answered that verizon ATT and other comapnies in the media or telecom industry. Also Fox news and ABC network are large. It was mostly just seeing if I had any interest in the media and telecom land scape. They ask for both comcasts and NBCUniversals competitors. Universals compeitors are any movie making company like 21st century fox or disney. I could have listed more cable providers but I made my point when I said verizon and diret tv. Over it was an easy answer.

Interview
Process took a few months - not for those looking to move quickly. Applied and heard back from a recruiter the next day. From there the process moved pretty slow/like there were lots of candidates. Had a phone interview followed by an interview day where I met with several members of management (Manager to Executive level). I must have been toward the end of the in-person interviews because I heard back relatively quickly that I was receiving an offer. They were willing to work with me on start date. Overall, the interview process was a couple months. My start was approximately four months from when I initially applied.

They did try to bump me down a level and I said no. They were fine with that.

Interview discussions were not too technical and emphasis was on "fit" from a culture/work ethic standpoint. I wish the amount of travel/work location situation would have been clarified more. Expect lots of travel. Unlike most firms, when you are home you must work in the office and cannot work from home.
Interview Questions
Why are you leaving your current role? Are you sure you want to work here? How do you feel about rules?

The rest was general interview line of questioning: what I had done, what I was looking to do, etc. Nothing too crazy or technical. There was one interviewer who was completely off the rails but everyone else seemed normal and nice. The rest of the process was ok and generally unmemorable. Some people didn't really seem to understand what I did but were open to learning more about it.
