Interview
I applied to my university career portal.

I first got a call from an HR, then interview personally at the offices.
Offices are in the heart of the City of London, and look beautiful with an overall great organisation.

Interviewer (actually two managers) were really nice and the general culture seemed interesting.
First few fit and personal questions, then moved to technical parts and few brainteasers.

I got back with an offer just two hours later.
Interview Questions
To be honest the environment were pretty relaxed and the interviewer did not put pressure on me.
I was very happy to answer their questions and they gave me the needed time to elaborate a good reply.

I think the hardest question was about explaining volatility smile and going in details for linearity/non linearity, but they helped me allowing to use examples and papers to sketch payoffs of options/derivatives on paper

Personal questions and brainteasers were fine, just plain vanilla questions common in interviews

Interview
I applied through university career offices and was called to meet with the business teams within two week. Several rounds of one to one interviews, a mixture of technical and behavioral questions.
Interview Questions
I was asked to explain my project in detail in my last internship experience. The interviewer was quite experienced and asked a lot of detailed follow-up questions. Furthermore, I was also asked to write codes in VBA with pen and paper. Another interview asked me a lot about the option greeks, including how to explain the graph of a greek - stock price intuitively. Pretty intense and be focused on the derivatives part, as well as personal experience. Know your resume well since any detail could be asked.

Interview Questions
Most topics on unconventional derivatives, had some questions about why germany as i did not study in Germany at the time of the interview.

Was asked some brain teasers that which was unexpected as these are a bad way to judge candidates.

Was asked some questions on why I study my degree, How I liked my current course and how it can help Commerzbank.

Asked me if I knew any programming and explained their own proprietary programming tools.

In general, I had not prepared whatsoever, so found each question a challenge.

This review is about the first interview, I have the second interview tomorrow. Need access to some features so putting up review now. Will update for the second interview later.
The first interview was taken by a structurer. He briefly asked some questions about my profile and dived into technical questions. The questions were related to Derivatives, Structured Products, Black-Scholes model and the greeks. Then he asked me two brainteaser. I think, with the brainteaser they want to see how you structure your thoughts and how well you can do under pressure.
(Review of the second review to follow.)
Cheers

P.S. Haven't finished the process yet. Will update later if I got the offer or not. For now, I'll stay optimistic and select "Accepted Offer'
Interview Questions
I already expected the interview to be a bit technical. So that was not a surprise. And the questions were very basic to test your familiarity with the subject. The brainteaser part was unexpected, but I didn't mind as I love brainteasers myself so it was fun.
First question was to calculate the angle between the hour hand and the minute hand in a clock at 3.50 PM.
Second questions, there's a cube made out of 1000 smaller cubes and you peel out the outerlayer of cubes. How many cubes remain.
