Summer Analyst

I applied for the Commonfund Summer Analyst position through their online careers portal. In addition to submitting my application, I also networked with an alum who had interned at the firm in the past. They gave me insight into the interview process and recommended that I emphasize my interest in institutional asset management and long-term investment strategies, as Commonfund primarily focuses on endowments, foundations, and nonprofit clients.

After submitting my application, I received an email from HR within two weeks, inviting me to a first-round virtual interview. The email provided an overview of the process and what to expect. The communication was clear and professional, and they were responsive when I had scheduling conflicts, allowing me to reschedule my interview easily.
