Interview
I was contacted by the manager of the department and was asked to formally apply online. I did and then was contacted by the head of hr and was given a longer description of the role and given a simple test over the phone (basic accounting questions) and then had another call with the manager.
Interview Questions
The questions were pretty similar to normal interviews. Tell me about yourself, why this position etc. There were minimal technical questions, the majority were behavioral and why I am applying to this position etc. The technical questions asked were basic accounting based questions. For example I was given a list of assets, liabilities and expenses and had to sort them all whether they would be on the balance sheet or income statement. I can't recall the others but they were on a similar level.

Interview
When I was applying to university after high school, I considered all my options of how/where to work while in school. I decided that because I was interested in a career in commercial banking it would be a no brainer to work there while in school. So I decided to go to the bank's main office and asked the receptionist for an application, and filled it out. because I knew the employees and had family working there, after I filled the application I turned it in and was called in a week later for an interview. The interview was conducted by the CEO of the bank and we discussed my long-term plans and where he thought I would be able to benefit the bank the most and asked me if that was okay with me.
Interview Questions
What can you do that separates you from the other applicants we have?
What is your long-term plan for yourself? How can working here assist in this?
Because you have no experience, how much money do you think you should make initially?
