Constellation Capital Management LLC (“Constellation”) was formed by Shahriar Shahida and Varun Gosain in 1999 as an alternative investment management company focusing on credit products. Constellation offers off-shore and on-shore credit hedge funds (Andromeda Global Credit Fund Ltd. and Andromeda Global Credit Partners LP) as well as managed accounts as its principal investment vehicles.

Constellation’s flagship fund, The Andromeda Global Credit Fund, seeks to obtain equity type returns with bond like volatility and has historically achieved strong risk adjusted returns. In order to obtain this objective, Constellation uses a value driven strategy to create a diversified portfolio through special situations and credit opportunities. Constellation has the ability to invest in all layers of the capital structure, from senior secured debt to equity, and from the developed world to the emerging markets.

Both Shahriar Shahida and Varun Gosain have extensive Wall Street proprietary trading and risk management history with a combined 40 years experience. They have worked together as a team for the last 18 years at Constellation, Paribas and Chemical Bank. Mr. Shahida was previously responsible for the global credit trading and syndicate group at Paribas. He was also the regional head for US fixed income sales and trading at Paribas. Mr. Gosain was previously global head of credit derivatives and was also responsible for all proprietary credit trading of Paribas.
