Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Interview consisted of 5 rounds and a modeling test before interviewing with the MDs. First two interviews were pretty casual but tested on why Cowen and asked about my prior deal experience. 3rd round and final rounds with senior bankers were more technical and asked about my entire background (deal experience, connections, career goals etc.). Definitely need to have your story straight and be able to hold a conversation for 45mins to an hour with each senior banker otherwise you'll be canned.
