Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Applied for the position of a markets SA online. Received an interview invite via email. The interview was scheduled for the end January for the summer internship which began in June. During the interview I met with 7 people. 5 of whom worked on the desk and ranged in position from VP to MD (traders, sales traders, equity research sales, options desk, etc.) and 2 of whom were from HR. The questions asked by HR were mostly behavioral (i.e., How would you react in this situation, tell me about yourself, tell me about one of the classes you've taken and why you liked/disliked it, etc.). The guys from the desk asked more technical questions about the markets, positions that one would take, etc. Being a stem major I was asked some statistics questions by one of the options trader to see how I would react under pressure and how I solved problems. Following the interview day I received an offer for an SA about a month later.
