Interview Questions
I applied for CreditSights Singapore and was asked my view on Lee Kuan Yew. I didn't expect that but later my manager told he just wanted to ask me some questions I didn't expect and prepare. Later there was a writing test as CreditSights is a research institution and it required the high standard of reporting writing. I was interviewed by two senior analysts from both corporate team and banking team. They asked me some market views and also basic accounting knowledge which was not difficult to cope with. , I think the overall interview process was quite okay. But the company currently still expand in Asian office and they probably will not give the return offer. for the junior analyst, they want people have at least one year industry exposure. So if you want to learn, this is a good place. But if you are very strict regarding the return offer, you can consider other companies already. The company culture is good and little bureaucracy to consider. The work and life balance also good comparing with banks.

Interview
Reached out to senior manager expressing interest in a summer internship prior to beginning an MBA program in the fall. Was connected to a senior (publishing) analyst and had a brief phone screen, followed by a one on one interview with the analyst (and his junior).

Interview was very high level, fit based. Mostly felt like the analyst trying to sell me on the project(s) he had in mind for a summer gig. No technicals to speak of. Although this is probably analyst specific, so don't count on all analysts being the same way.
