Interview Questions
If I had a hypothetical company that you were looking to buy, how would you go about determining how much it is worth? Briefly walk me through an LBO. How does depreciation affect EBITDA. After you use an EBITDA multiple for a company, what is the name for the number you arrive at to value to the company? What is the difference between who and whom? What does ALT + TAB do on your computer? Why are you interested in finance and why IB? What did you do in your last internship? What questions do you have for us?

Interview
First round was OCR. Talked a lot about data. Went through my resume. Second round was a phone interview. Mostly tell me about yourself and why IB.
Interview Questions
Name three factors that determine the health of an area? Anything that was remotely similar would not be allowed. You had to think of out of the box answers to the question. Overall the entire process was very easy and since it was exclusive to sophomores it wasn't a high level interview anyways. The first one may have been a stress test as the interviewer seemed very abrasive and it may have been designed to rattle you and see your response to that. I just moved past it and answered questions like I would have without him doing that.

Interview
Very simple. Was interviewed on campus by two managing directors. Heard back within a week and accepted offer.
Interview Questions
What is an accrued expense?
Everything else was pretty much basci behavioral questions that you would expect in an IB interview. Things like why IB? What is your biggest strength/weakness? How is your experience in excel, powerpoint, and word? They asked what major projects I had recently worked on. Also wanted to know if I knew about contract research organizations or CROs since that is their primary focus within the healthcare investment banking sector. They also wanted to know what my long term career goals were.
