Culross Global Management Limited is an independent 'forward looking', thematic fund of hedge funds manager. The company was founded in 1992 by Nigel Blanshard who comes from a background of institutional fixed income management and was responsible for multi-billion dollar portfolios. By 1995, Nigel had developed his thematic approach to fund of hedge fund (FoHF) management and his particular approach to manager selection. In 1998, Nigel was joined by his partner Chris Keen who came from a distinguished career in banking and investment management. Later that year saw the successful launch of the Dublin listed Culross Global Fund, followed by, in April 2001, with the Dublin listed Culross Global Arbitrage Fund. In 2005, a third fund was added to the stable, the Culross Global H Fund, and in late 2009 a fourth, the Long Term Alpha Fund. Both partners have a substantial part of their personal wealth invested in the Funds.
