Interview
The process was quite straight forward - got a referral for interview from a previous intern. Then, I was connected with a lady from HR, who sent me information on the position and quickly scheduled a phone interview.
Interview Questions
The interviewer saw that I had Chinese as a language spoken on my resume, and decided to do the rest of the interview in Chinese. They asked about fit questions on "What do you think are the key skills for this position. Why do you think you are a good candidate for this position?"

Had to quickly adjust - but ended up answering their question in Chinese confidently. For sure, it was weird to speak in a language that you're not speaking all the time, especially the jargons in the industry. I would for sure recommend anyone polish up the jargons for the industries they are interviewing for in all the languages they list on their resume.

Interview
When applying to the internship, I spoke to a recruiter in New York City and gained a lot of insight into my experiences as an intern. It was overall a great experience and I am a huge fan of the company.
Interview Questions
Honestly, not many of the interview questions stumped me. I would say the most important thing is to make sure that you know a lot about the company and what you would want to go within the internship. I was asked a lot about my past experiences in Commercial Real Estate. Additionally, I was questioned about my major since it is not their common finance or business major. All of my interviews had to be over the phone because I was traveling abroad and not able to make it into the office at all.

Interview
Very informal, get to know you on a personal level, ask you about interests in real estate, probably to get a feel if you are a good fit for their very specific culture. Grill you on your resume as well. Go line by line asking you about your experiences in your internships. All behavioral, no technical questions expect for the 1 about investing, and in which market you would invest.

I spoke with an HR person out of the Chicago office for the position in New York, which I found to be a bit odd. She didn't know very much about the PREP Program, and was not able to answer questions more specific to the program, however directed me to people who may have been better able to answer those questions specific to the program.

Interview Questions
If you had $100m to invest across all asset types and in any market, what/where/why?

Go line by line asking you about your experiences in your internships. All behavioral, no technical questions expect for the 1 about investing, and in which market you would invest.
