Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
The interview and hiring process began when I was contacted by a recruiter following a referral from an employee. During our initial conversation, I discussed my resume and elaborated on my interest in the position. The recruiter and I then reviewed the job posting in detail, which helped clarify the role's expectations and requirements. Following this discussion, the recruiter arranged an interview for me with the hiring manager.

In my interview with the hiring manager, we primarily focused on my motivations and interest in the position. The questions were designed to understand my enthusiasm for the role and how it aligned with my career goals, rather than delving deeply into my qualifications. This approach gave me the chance to express my genuine interest and ask a variety of questions about the job's responsibilities, the team, and the company culture.

After thoroughly considering the information gathered from the interview and my own career aspirations, I decided not to move forward with the application. I concluded that the position was not the right fit for me at this time. This decision was based on a comprehensive evaluation of the role's alignment with my professional goals and personal values.
