Simply put, as a company gets more reviews, the confidence of a "true score" increases so it is pulled closer to its simple average and away from the average of the entire dataset.

Interview
Had an initial phone screen with HR just asking basic behavioral questions. Next was a skills assessment that went over some corporate finance concepts. After that, it went to two interviews with associates that were mostly behavioral and some basic technicals, but mostly trying to get to know you. Next round was with two interviews, each with an analyst, where one was behavioral and one was very technical but mostly stuff from the guides with some different numbers. After that, there was a modelling case study that you had 24 hours to complete where you had to compile a P&L from different group statements, do a revenue build, and eventually value the company. After that was the superday which was a mix of technicals and behavioral with analysts, associates, VP and MD. After the superday, there was one more round, one being a very tech-specific technical interview (e.g., how does deferred revenue affect purchase price, what flows into COGS for a SaaS business, and some others). Everyone was very nice and personable throughout the whole process
