I go to a top target school and applied and was invited to several exclusive networking events over breakfast and dinner with the firm. When I submitted my resume to OCR, I was surprised to have been waitlisted for my first round interview. Fortunately, a spot opened up and I went. One of the weirdest interview experiences of my life. The MD seemed to absolutely hate me, and the analyst did her best to keep the conversation going. You would understand my surprise, then, when I got moved onto the on-campus superday.
