What did the interview consist of?

Please describe the interview / hiring process.
The first round consisted in 1-hour chat with a director. This conversation was centered around my background, the electronic trading business and the challenges in the electronification of non-equity markets.
The second round consisted in 30-40 minutes fast-paced interview with the head of the division. This conversation was more technical. In particular, I had to answer questions on how to derive the parameters of a linear regression model, the Gauss-Markov conditions, when the estimator is biased (strict exogeneity) and identify other models that can be applied to the market making business. This was followed by few basic questions on the principles of market making, such as how you determine your bid-ask spread.
