Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Mostly Technical, with an academic (less experienced) background. Began with valuation models, DDM, FCFE/FCFF. Answered fairly poorly, then moved on to accounting stuff, as in looking at the three statements, asked to describe each and the relative importance of them. Looked at important metrics that can be gathered from the statements as in EBITDA margin etc. Then asked why this company and why the role. All in all, missed a bit of an open goal, as I believe there wasn't anybody else interviewing at the time.
