Investment Banking Summer Analyst

Deutsche Bank reached out to a number of candidates to conduct first round interview screens and did not go through the school's career services. Format was general first round investment banking questions - tell me about yourself/story, why investment banking, why DB and why you think you would be good at the job. Successful first round screens were moved on to a Superday in NY and those successful at that Superday were given offers with very little time to accept/decline (less than a week). Advice is to be sharp on the first round as it is a first round phone interview but disguised as an informal call/setting to learn more about DB yet is no excuse to not be on your game. Interviewer was very nice and from what I could tell the culture of the firm reflects that as well.
