Origination and Advisory Summer Analyst

I was a late-add to the IB recruiting process for 2025 SA, so I was in the second wave of Deutsche recruiting. There were only two interviews (both virtual), the first was with an associate and the second was with a VP and MD. Pretty basic technicals in the first interview, was really interested in niche-forms of investing (think derivatives, ESG, etc.) so we had a pretty productive chat. The second interview was an hour long with two 30-minute interviews, this stage was entirely behavioral be sure to have your personal statement on lock. All in all, very friendly people even though I did not get the offer I feel like the process was fair.
