S&T (Markets) Summer Analyst

Non-target recruiting. Resume drop, followed by 3 phone screens. All were alumni and mostly fit-based, some very basic markets questions. Invited to Super Day a few weeks later. Super Day process is different than other firms: one 2-on-1 30 minute interview on the first day, then some candidates are called back for a second day. Was called around 4 PM with invitation. Second day was 45 minute 2-on-1 interview. Called the next day by HR with results. First day of Super Day was more markets/brainteasers than the second day (mostly fit), however a few other candidates I spoke with seemed to have opposite experience. Friendly but serious atmosphere, did not get the feeling that the DB employees wanted to intimated candidates (felt this way at other firms). Important to remember this is both a rotational summer program and a rotational FT analyst program. Firm culture had emphasis on global presence/network.
