What did the interview consist of?
Phone Interview
1 on 1 Interview
Please describe the interview / hiring process.
Phone Interview - 30 minute call with an associate. Talked about my previous internship experience, why i'm interested in DB and tech, why M&A...

Superday - 4 interviews with 8 people back-to-back (met with 2 people in each interview). 2 MDs, 2 VPs, 4 Associates.
1st interview was accounting focused (depreciation up by $10, what happens to all statements), and a brain teaser on 50 balls (blue/black) in 2 buckets blindfolded...
2nd interview - digging on DCF knowledge, used the whiteboard to figure out FCFs for a random tech company, given its margins. Was asked to calculate debt/leverage ratio... Make sure to go over that. There was a question on accretion/dilution as well.
3rd interview - reallly grilling me on why i wanted to do IBD. Why not work for a tech company instead? Why M&A and why IBD? They want to see your passion, genuine interest in M&A and tech. Asked me to value a competitor of the company I interned for (large tech company).
4th interview - mostly resume questions, why IBD, and more about what I know of the tech space, any deals I've been following, etc. last one was pretty short.
